DENMAN STAGE STAR
The final of Denman Stage Star took place on the HJ Stage on Monday 10 October, with competitors vying for a career transforming year of opportunities – including, but not limited to, a dedicated photographic collection shoot with Desmond Murray and a set of all Denman products and tools.
Whilst being judged by iconic hair duo Gary Hooker and Michael Young, Charlotte Grant-West, editor of Hairdressers Journal International and Denman ambassadors Georgia Bell and Brandon Messinger, the finalists were asked to present on stage and showcase their skills to a live audience, whilst displaying excellent product knowledge and stage presence. All competitors impressed the judges, however after much deliberation Tia Gentles took the title. Tia’s communication skills, connection to the audience and beautiful model presentation ensured her win.
Tia said: “What an incredible experience. I never imagined I might actually win! I couldn’t be more excited for the year ahead. I would really like to enter the British Hairdressing Awards and I am looking forward to learning more and building my confidence and experience.”
