Compare and Contrast Accurate Colour Benchmarks
Millions of formulas mixed by thousands of stylists across the globe have been collated by Vish to identify and share optimal colour amounts for the five most popular colour services. The tech innovator has now published its Efficient Stylist Checklist, making those benchmarks freely available to any stylist or salon keen to reduce waste and bring home more money this festive season – even if they don’t yet use Vish.
“Historically, manufacturers and salons have set amounts to guide stylists, but they are often out-dated and excessive, leading to more colour being mixed than needed,” says Tom Bentley-Taylor, Managing Director of Vish. “Add to that the established custom of mixing more than required to save time and ensure consistency, and we end up with nearly 40% of colour unnecessarily mixed. It leads to lower profits and environmental damage. These new benchmarks are based on millions of real services showing us how much the most successful stylists, who often earn the most, mix for these five services.”
Anyone can freely download the checklist and access a free template created by Vish to customise and include salon branding using free editing software, Canva.
