#Salon23 THE ANNUAL
IT’S BEEN 50 YEARS OF FUN, FASHION AND FROLICS, HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED AT THIS YEAR’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW...
Countless brands, new launches, four stages, ten Masterclasses and three days of Business Live seminars, in some ways Salon International hasn’t changed since it began in 1973 –
– but in other ways everything has changed, as you can tell from the throwback image above and 2023's image Below!
THE HJ STAGE KICKS OFF OUR ROUND UP OF THE FOUR STAGES. WE LOVED THE MIX OF CLIENT-FRIENDLY AND OUT-THERE LOOKS
SHAPE SHIFT
Stepping it up a notch with graphic shapes, blunt fringes and block colour panels, hob, Danilo Giangreco and the Blue Tit teams threw some cool shapes.
KEEP IT REAL
It was all about salon friendly, flattering and wearable looks for Kirby Blythe and Samantha Cusick – these were genuine client looks that the audience could take right back to the chair.
BIG ATTITUDE
Let's hear it for the artists who went big and bold with punk looks, Avant Garde drama and, of course, drag queens.
GLAMOUR
It wouldn't be the HJ Stage without a hefty dose of glamour. Think beautiful and confident – the looks from Mark Leeson, WHC China, Conor Doyle & Melvin Royce Lane and Ken Picton all made a statement.
