One Step Wonder

Say goodbye to multiple bowls, lengthy processing times, and brassy results with the Quif magi:tone system

It’s no secret that today’s clients want shades tailored to their skin tone, lifestyle, and personality – it’s all about bespoke shades as more people prioritise embracing individuality and uniqueness. For salons and colourists, that means delivering on client expectations with incredible results, all while prioritising the health of the hair.

Enter Quif’s magi:tone, the intelligent lightening and toning system that lets you lift, tone, and condition in a single step – with built-in bond protection and nourishing argan oil. Designed for time-strapped stylists and colour perfectionists, the Quif magi:tone system transforms the way you lighten by depositing tone as you lift, reducing the need for separate toning stages and multiple formulations.

Full Control

Your clients want their dream customised tone, and you can give them just that. Mix and blend magi:tone tone drops to create unique formulas and stunning looks with no limits.

Whether you’re neutralising stubborn brass or enhancing delicious warm hues, magi:tone tone drops give you full creative control – on and off the scalp.

Inside the Magic

At the heart of the system is the magi:tone bonded lightener, capable of up to 7+ or 9+ levels of lift, combined with integrated bond protection and nourishing argan oil to support hair health throughout the process.

And of course, the innovation doesn’t stop there. The customisable tone drops allow you to create those bespoke shades during the lightening service itself. Use violet to cancel yellow, blue to fight orange, yellow to boost golden tones, or red to craft rose gold, copper or red-blonde results.

Meanwhile, with developer strengths of 16 Vol (4.8%), 22 Vol (6.6%) and 28 Vol (8.5%), magi:tone offers flexibility across a whole range of colour services. All strengths can be used for off-scalp applications with a maximum of 22 Vol recommended for on-scalp creations, all with a development time of up to 50 minutes.

“THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE QUIF MAGI:TONE HAS MADE TO MY BUSINESS IS GIVING ME TIME BACK. I’M NOT WAITING AROUND FOR TONERS TO PROCESS AND I’M NOT DOUBLE-PROCESSING THE HAIR, WHICH ALSO SAVES ME MONEY ON PRODUCT. MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE LOOKS TO CREATE ARE CHAMPAGNE BLONDES BY COMBINING THE VIOLET AND YELLOW DROPS TOGETHER. MY BIGGEST ADVICE TO ANYONE NEW TO QUIF MAGI:TONE WHEN CREATING BLONDES IS TO START WITH VIOLET AND ADD A LITTLE YELLOW SO YOU DON’T CREATE A TONE THAT’S TOO COOL – AND DON’T BE AFRAID TO GET CREATIVE.”
