Avlon Partners with Enact Equality
Avlon has partnered with Enact Equality to support the launch of a survey that aims to inform new national guidance against Afro hair discrimination in the UK. The national survey asks diverse audiences to share their experiences of growing up with Afro hair. Enact Equality works to advance race equality and social justice in the UK. Last year, Enact Equality, the APPG and the Halo Collective launched a national campaign to tackle Afro hair discrimination in schools, which led to the Equality and Human Rights Commission, and the Prime Minister’s Office, agreeing to implement new national guidance for education providers across England.
