ENGLAND FANS GO CRAZY FOR EURO 2020 HAIR
Euro 2020 sparked a craze for England footballer Phil Foden’s haircut and colour. The England and Manchester City star took inspiration from Paul Gascoigne’s iconic Euro 96 hairstyle and bleached his hair blonde.
The team at Mister Barber in Stockport, Greater Manchester, which is close to where the footballer grew up found clients were desperate to show their support by copying Phil’s new look.
Mister Barber’s owner Adam Home told HJ exclusively: “We put images up on our social media channels and showed the Phil Foden hair look.
We asked our clients if they’d like a similar hair cut or colour and it was a huge success.”
Adam and his team were also featured in the Sunday Mirror and he told the newspaper: “We’ve had a lot of young lads coming in to have their hair cut like Phil Foden. We thought we’d go the extra step and get ours dyed too. As Phil grew up just down the road we really wanted to show our support.”
