HJ’S HOTTEST HIT

JUNE’S TOP ONLINE STORY IS…

THE SKINNY LOB IS THE CHICEST CUT OF THE SEASON

If there’s one haircut that clients can’t seem to get enough of, it’s the bob. Which is why the Skinny Lob is proving to be one of the chicest go-to styles for those clients who don’t want to commit to a shorter length but are still after the midi-length blunt look.

HAIR & THERE

Last month, HJ were invited to lots of exciting industry events we just couldn’t miss. We jetted to Budapest with Kevin Murphy to celebrate their 20th anniversary. We went to Alva Coachworks in London for an evening full of creativity and hair artistry at Davines’ Crafted The Event 2024 with Tom Connell. We headed to Norwich for Collaborate with Barkers. Plus, we touched down in Dublin for the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Ireland Grand Final. And of course, Jayne Lewis-Orr was over in Scotland for our very first Professional Beauty and Hair Glasgow!

This month HJ asked you...

DO YOU OFFER SILENT HAIRCUTS?

56% of hairstylists would prefer ‘silent’ services, according to research by Ripe Hair & Beauty, with 53% of clients agreeing, so we asked our Instagram followers if they offer silent haircuts. Our survey said:

YES: 40%    NO: 60%
