SOFTWARE TO SUPPORT YOUR PERSONAL MISSION

Starting a business is an adventure in itself, and when your journey begins with personal loss or exclusion, genuine support is invaluable. That’s where Vagaro’s salon business software comes in

As the booking and management software that puts its clients first, Vagaro hopes to make the lives of business owners a little bit simpler. When Aba Ahmed from Beauty Kulture in London first started out, she had specific ideas for how her business would operate and why, as she herself had experienced being turned away from beauty establishments. The reason?

“I was told: ’Sorry, we don't do Afro hair’ or ‘we don't do your type of hair’,” Aba explains. “Why is there not a salon where every woman can just walk in and be taken on as a customer? And then that's when I started speaking to my brother, and I said, ‘I think there's a gap in the market.’”

Aba’s main concern was providing stellar customer service. She was adamant about going the extra mile to provide that personal touch, and wanted each client to feel as though they were being welcomed into her home.

Vagaro helps on that front, allowing her to track what’s working and what isn’t for both her clientele and her business. Helpful features, like reports and an online booking system, take any phone frustration out of the equation and make for an elevated client experience.

The standout feature of Vagaro for Beauty Kulture? That seems to be the free Marketplace, where users are always searching for services. Aba shares: “It allows you to expand your client base, and that’s what I love about the Vagaro system!”

Meanwhile, over in Surrey Quays, Kannis Undiscovered Beauty is focusing on self-love. Andria Asare started the company as a tribute to her late sister who, she says, never got the chance to discover her own beauty. She wanted to provide a place where women could go to try new styles and feel confident. Andria does it for the satisfaction that comes from the client transformation. Perhaps it’s this giving mentality that’s made Kannis Undiscovered Beauty so successful – and so busy.

With much on her plate, Andria credits her business software with keeping her grounded, explaining: “I always tell my friends they need to switch to Vagaro,” she says. “I understand, as a business owner, you don’t always have the time. But once you’ve made the switch, you’re not going to move again. Especially if you’re in the beauty industry – Vagaro is perfect for beauty businesses.”

174,000+ BEAUTY AND WELLNESS PROFESSIONALS AGREE: VAGARO IS EASY TO USE, AFFORDABLE, AND SAVES YOU TIME.
