Sim Sensitive Launch New Men’s Colour Line, SensiDO Men Shades

PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY GROUP EXPANDS INTO EUROPE

Professional Beauty Group (PBG) has acquired Expo Beauty and Cosmo Beauty, two exhibitions serving the hair and beauty sectors in Barcelona, Spain. Professional Beauty Group’s acquisition will put the two events back into one venue, allowing visitors to move seamlessly from one event to another. Managing Director Mark Moloney said: “There’s no doubt we’ll learn a lot from our new Spanish team as they will from us. I know our UK readers and exhibitors will be focused on our UK events, and our focus is keeping the UK magazines and websites at the top of their game. I am well aware that we need to keep delivering for the UK professionals.”

Scotland's Largest Salon Group, Rainbow Room International, Celebrates 45 Years

This year Rainbow Room International are celebrating 45 years in business. The first salon opened in Glasgow in 1979, and has grown to become an eleven-salon group. Co-founder, Alan Stewart, commented: “A couple of years after opening the salon I was asked how I would run my business if it was to be a hundred-year-old salon. That gave me great clarity on what needed to be achieved – we had to develop our team to be the very best, find out where they wanted to go with their careers and give them opportunities to achieve that.”

evo Crowns The Winner of Its First-Ever Best-In-Hue Colour Competition

Colourists across the globe showcased their creativity in evo's Best-in-Hue colour competition. Congratulations to Abigael Mccormick who won with her entry that featured an elevated copper colour created using evo's hue-verse. Abigael, owner and artist at Collective + Cove in Canada, approached this colour with the intention to have fun and be creative. Her advice to fellow colourists? “Set the goal, mentally set the standard, formulate with intention, be honest with yourself and trust your formula.”

DARREL STARKEY ANNOUNCED AS NEW AMBASSADOR FOR ASP HAIR CARE
