Master the art of grey blending
Follow these steps to give clients this gorgeous cool grey blended effect created by Wella Professionals UK&I creative technical director, Robert Eaton
A PLAYFUL RESULT
This simple technique allows your clients to celebrate their grey hair by moving the parting back and forth to showcase the colour that best suits their mood.
THE COLOUR FORMULAS
FORMULA 1
• Blondor Meche Cream
• 30g Cream Colour Component
• 30g Powder Component
• 45ml 9% Welloxon Perfect
FORMULA 2
• 10g 5/81 + 10g 4/ ILLUMINA COLOR
• +20ml 6% Welloxon Perfect Developer
FORMULA 3
• Toner: 20g 10/69 ILLUMINA COLOR
• +40ml 1.9%/6vol Welloxon Perfect
Pastel Developer
1. Section the hair and identify the natural parting so you know what section to isolate. Apply formula 1 to the right side of the head. Work horizontally up the head using a medium weave and x12 foils.
2. Apply formula 2 on the left-hand side of the head working horizontally with a slice. Develop for up to 20 minutes under heat or 30-40 minutes without heat.
3. Rinse, shampoo and apply Blondor Seal & Care for 5 minutes and rinse. Towel dry and apply formula 3 at the backwash section-by-section all over. Develop for 5-10 minutes. Rinse and apply INVIGO Post Color Treatment for 5 minutes. Style as needed.
