EDUCATION AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
Education is the bed rock of any hairdressing career, and here’s how L’Oréal Professionnel Paris can support you to never stop learning
The mission of L’Oréal Professionnel Paris’ education offering? To show a clear learning path that runs from foundation level to expert hairdresser. The Education Directory 2025 features both new and classic courses that are suitable for all hairdressers and ensures education on all hair types.
Nothing shows this mission better than the new Pick your Journey section of the Directory. L’Oréal continues its blended education style with online theory pre-courses, as well as practical courses at the L’Oréal Academies that are hands-on with learning games to recap knowledge. Learners can then revisit the theory behind any course, at any time, in the video library on L’Oréal Access at .uk.lorealaccess.com or ie.lorealaccess.com.
It’s crucial that education is accessible to all and that’s why L’Oréal Professionnel Paris has regional academies throughout the UK and Ireland. But did you know that you can also get direct education? Selected courses are available at your salon for the whole team to learn new skills together, in their own environment.
We take a look at some of the highlights available for 2025…
Colour Specialist Continues Its Reign
The pinnacle of the brand’s education offering for 26 years, Colour Specialist is delivered regionally as well as in the London Academy. If you’re a colourist with at least two years’ experience who wants to take your colour knowledge to a specialist level, you’ll love this course with its Colour Specialist Graduation and Colour Congress event, exclusively for Colour Specialists.
Post-Colour Specialist, graduates join a community called Colour Specialist Connective that features virtual on-going specialised education and a first look at new product launches.
Foiliage Updates
Balayage Keys, now featuring Foiliage, is a duo course that teaches the basics of foiliage. Watch a series of how-to videos led by Harriet Stokes in your own time, then come to the Academy and get hands-on putting what you have learned into practice. You’ll learn foiliage techniques so you can acheive the balayage look on any client, as well as freehand balayage, babylights, highlights, root shadow, plus many more techniques.
