SHOW YOUR ID
The essentials to know about the L’Oréal ID Artist programme. Have you got what it takes?
L'Oréal ID Group Year 2
Launched in 2003, the ID Artist programme aims to find talented individuals and help them reach their full potential. Over a two-year period, members train with top industry names, upskill in presenting and partake in unique opportunities that often puts individuals on the fast track to stardom.
Tell Me More…
Many recognised faces over the last 20 years have been part of the programme and have gone on to amazing things, in fact many of them are still part of the Artistic offering at L’Oréal Professionnel Paris. The ID Artist programme has developed over 400 hairdressers across the UK and Ireland, many of whom have grown into leaders within our industry today. The selection process is tough, but so worth it.
If you do become part of the ID Artist team, you can expect to join a 2-year programme that will lead to:
• Guest speaker presentations
• The opportunity to be first to use new products
• Countless industry opportunities such as fashion shows, college presentations, course presentations, influencer days, filming for Access education, presenting on social media, in-person and live presenting

How Do I Enter?
To be in with a chance of becoming an ID Artist, there is a two-step audition process.
The entry process is entirely digital and includes two formal audition steps:
Step 1:
Submit an audition video showcasing a complete total look on a live model
Step 2: A virtual interview with a panel of industry experts (only successful entries from the first round will go through to this stage)
Auditions are held at the start of the year with 12 new places available on the upcoming programme. ID Artist auditions are open to various skill set combinations. Candidates will be asked to indicate their area of skill and focus in the following categories: hair cutting, styling and/or colouring.
Auditions go live at the end of November and successful candidates join the programme in February. Follow @Loreal_education_uki for more information and to see when the applications first open.

“IT’S FANTASTIC SEEING THE FUTURE CREATIVES COMING FORWARD AND PUTTING THEMSELVES OUT THERE. I AM BLOWN AWAY BY THEIR TALENT. THE 2-YEAR PROGRAM ALLOWS THE TALENT TO INDIVIDUALLY GROW, AND IT’S ALWAYS GREAT TO SEE HOW THEY DEVELOP.”
