Zen Luxury Extensions' LS+ Range Continues to Soar
Zen Hair is thrilled to announce the continued success of its professional extension product range, the LS+ Series – now available in Tape, Perfect Secrets, Luxury Nano Weft, Nano-I-Tip, I-Tip and U-Tip application methods. Since its launch in 2023, the LS+ range has consistently surpassed expectations, becoming the go-to choice for hair extension enthusiasts and salon professionals alike.
The LS+ Series extensions are renowned for their natural appearance, enhanced quality with increased weight of hair, thereby increasing the density of hair. Zen is committed to using only the finest 100% Remy human hair and ensures that each strand is of exceptional quality, resulting in extensions that blend seamlessly with the client's own hair.
The LS+ range also features eco-friendly packaging, which is 99.9% recyclable. The packing is designed for easier salon storage in sturdy, flat, high-quality square boxes, incorporating an easy glide pull draw for protecting the hair and keeping it application ready.

Modern Comfort Built on Heritage Values
Client comfort is a top priority and, as clients spend a great deal of time in the styling chair, they are one of the most important considerations when it comes to equipment. As salons invest so much of themselves in creating the right ambience and aesthetic, styling chairs also need to enhance their interior and support the services they offer.
The A1201 styling chair combines heritage design with modern functionality and ergonomic precision. Launched as part of Takara Belmont’s Vintage Alt collection, the A1201 is based on a traditional design using artisan techniques and hand-finishing, which has resulted in a warm, inviting and visually impressive chair. Furnished with wooden armrests, with an optional wooden footrest, the A1201 incorporates natural elements with a handstudded backrest that’s reminiscent of early manufacturing methods.
A generously padded seat and low backrest, designed to give stylists unhindered access to the client, with four hydraulic base options and three fabric ranges, in a wide choice of colours, combine with advanced functionality to meet the demand's of salon life.

Are Fragrance Free Products on the Rise?
Sim Sensitive, the high-quality, professional haircare line made in Finland, is proud to be an entirely fragrance-free brand. Explaining this decision, the brand cited how artificial fragrances can be damaging to the environment. SIM Sensitive has found that fragrance-free products offer the same functionality as fragranced products, but without the potential health and environmental concerns.
“With many products often featuring a long list of ingredients on the back, the creators of the brand put themselves in the shoes of their customers, and asked: What is actually in my products?” explains Sarah Charlton, Mavericks hair salon.
“They discovered that it can take over a 100 different chemicals to make a fragrance, but some companies often hide these chemicals under the word ‘perfume’”, she adds. While this is allowed (to stop competitors from copying their fragrance) it leaves customers in the dark as to what they are actually using on their clients’ hair.
Why not become a clean hair salon by switching to SIM Sensitive?
Sim Sensitive is now available in the UK. Visit www.simfinland.co.uk or message them on WhatsApp at 07917565653

Vish Turns New Income into Big Profit
Dynamic pricing, only available to salons using Vish technology, is pulling in thousands in new revenue and profits. Converting to the colour management system has allowed businesses like Luke Ormsby Salons to restructure their pricing strategy, so when more colour is required, the client is charged for the exact amount.
“It is difficult to ensure the cost of additional colour is covered in a rigid pricing system,” says Luke, with salons in Pinner and Primrose Hill, London, and a third, recently opened in Frome, Oxfordshire. “Before Vish, we couldn’t know how much colour was used and if the costs were added to the client bill, which it sometimes meant any profit from the service was wiped out. Using Vish we can charge for all extra colour, enabling us to capture an additional £8,567 in profit so far this year. Of course, at the same time, it has massively reduced our costs by guiding us on the exact quantities needed.”
Dynamic pricing ends the insecurity where costs for additional colour or services may not be covered by the bill, which eats away at profitability. “We knew our colour services were underdelivering on profit, but it took Vish and its dynamic pricing ability to help us recognise by how much,” adds Luke.
