Create New Shampoo Sensations with Takara Belmont

Takara Belmont’s Yume Series provides the ultimate client experience, combining superior ergonomics and precision engineering to transform everyday backwash services from the ordinary into the extraordinary. As the latest addition to this world-class range, the Yume iXi is no exception, embodying the technical precision of Takara Belmont's Yume Series for more space sensitive salons. Horizontal belts effectively distribute the client’s weight to different parts of the chair at varying angles, while supporting plush seat cushioning beneath provides superior comfort. Coupled with a lumbar cushion, Yume iXi supports the lower back to ensure a comfortable position is maintained at all times, while its foot-pedal operated reclining motion allows backwash technicians to gently recline clients into a semi-flat position. “Yume iXi is ideal for salons that want to upscale backwash services even when they’re limited for space,” says Takara Belmont’s National Sales Manager, Katie Fielder. “Its contemporary design harnesses features that are the hallmark of our globally renowned Yume Series.”

Industry Unites to Cut VAT

At the time of press, salon owners are uniting in a campaign that calls on the Government for an immediate cut in VAT to 10% in the Spring Budget. Caroline Larissey, Chief Executive of the NHBF also shared: “The presence of the cliff edge within the current VAT regime incentivises businesses to remain below the threshold, forgo much needed growth and produce a lower tax yield for HM Treasury.”
