ALFAPARF Milano Launches Semi di Lino Ranges
ALFAPARF Milano has announced the launch of its new Semi di Lino Blonde and Brunette lines. A whole range dedicated to caring for and refreshing blonde and brunette hair. The Semi di Lino Blonde and Brunette ranges prolong the intensity and shine of colour, neutralising unwanted tones, for salon-fresh looking hair that lasts.
Both the Blonde and Brunette ranges contain advanced Blue Light Shield technology (an active ingredient of natural origin, extracted from Butterfly Bush using a green process) to counteract the negative effects of blue light, helping to keep colour intense and vibrant for longer, leaving hair manageable with a glossy shine.
ALFAPARF Milano Semi Di Lino Blonde and Brunette ranges are available in appointed ALFAPARF Milano salons nationwide (RRP from £15.20).

NHBF Clarifies Rules on Face Coverings for Hair Salons in England
The UK government has announced that it is now the law (and therefore mandatory) for face coverings to be worn in premises that provide close contact services in England (i.e., all staff working in the hair and beauty industry and their clients), unless officially exempt. The guidance also includes freelancers and mobile stylists as it states that ‘staff and customers should also wear a face covering if close contact services are taking place in someone’s home’.
The new law only requires a face covering for staff (type II face mask recommended), not visors or googles, and clients can remove their mask for relevant treatments. It only applies to receptionists if there is no physical barrier or screen between workers and members – if there isn't a barrier and a mask isn't being worn, enforcement action can be taken.
The NHBF is highlighting to salon and barbershop owners to display a notice advising that face coverings must be worn unless a person is exempt. The notice must be displayed in a visible location, for example, on the front door. Failure to do so could result in a £1,000 fine.
