With salons across the country forced to close once again, we want to help you use this time in the best way possible.

Our new live series – HJ Upskills features live sessions to boost your business, digital and creative skills.

We’re offering digital content from an industry expert geared towards improving your skill set every day so you will feel ready and raring to go once your business opens again. You can also engage with other hairdressers in the comments and ask our experts questions along the way.

IG TV and YouTube channels. We have a new HJ Upskills h ttps://www.hji.co.uk/latest/hj-upskills-view-the-weekly-You can tune in to previous sessions on HJ’s FB, schedule each week which you can view here: schedule-here/

This month, our Pinterest followers are loving the Step Mullet, a look coined by Vacancy Project, a salon based in New York. This off-shoot of the infamous mullet was inspired by accident-based styling and provides a perfectly imperfect aesthetic. For more inspiration go to pinterest.co.uk/ hjinteractive/

Following a year of trials and tribulations for hair businesses across the country, HJ felt it was important to bring the hairdressing community together and celebrate those that showed strength against all odds at HJ’s 2020 British Hairdressing Business Awards.

If you missed it, you can watch the entire awards ceremony on HJ’s Facebook Page!

We ran the virtual event live on Monday 25 January to give everyone the opportunity to celebrate together.
