The first-ever Goldwell ColorSphere event was a meeting point for the global professional colour community, with the sold-out event culminating in the high-energy Global Creative Awards 2025.
Milan buzzed with energy and creativity as stylists from across the globe gathered for ColorSphere, Goldwell’s international two-day showcase that tailored for the professional colour community. More than 1,200 colourists, salon professionals and educators came together for an immersive celebration.
ColorSphere sees a whole new look for the brand’s global event. Dominic Pratt, Global President, Kao Salon Division, told HJ during an exclusive press conference: “We want to keep the Global Creative Awards at the heart of the event, but we wanted this event to reflect the needs of the changing market. Goldwell colour has the strongest partnership with our customers. We’ve introduced Masterclasses, featuring the brightest stars in our industry – they are all about delivering creative and business education and support.”
What HJ Saw - ColorSphere Was All About Learning and Upskilling
Across trend talks, interactive workshops, masterclasses, model showcases, networking spaces, and the grand finale of the runway show and iconic Global Creative Awards, ColorSphere delivered inspirational education geared to elevate creativity and drive salon business.
Two masterclasses stood out for HJ. Chroma Chronicles focused on wearable salon colour - from grey coverage to dimensional brunettes, as Jessica Price and Ashley Hood displayed their artistry live on stage. They also teased the 17 new Colorance Gloss Tones for 2026... We also loved Spectrum Secrets with Seung ki Baek and Kylie Bussing, which saw the duo recreating Italian paintings such as Boticelli’s The Birth of Venus using Elumen.
Throughout the event, attendees experienced a multi-sensory journey of professional growth that has never been seen before. “The energy, creativity and community spirit we witnessed throughout ColorSphere surpassed all our expectations,” said Dominic. “What better place than in the fashion capital of Italy to experience the transformative power of beautiful colour fuelled by Goldwell’s people, products, and leadership for the future.”
Business sessions equipped stylists with future-ready insights on tech, innovation, AI, and salon success, while the creative masterclasses by Marianne Jensen and Gianluca Spagnuolo, Nicci Welsh and Huub Eysink, Mio Sota and Didier Lachapelle, Sal McKinzie, AI expert Andi Alleman, and more, took attendees out from behind the salon chair and pushed their creative comfort zones to new heights.
