GROW BEAUTIFUL
Tackling climate action by integrating beauty and agriculture, Davines launches Grow Beautiful on the second anniversary of the We Sustain Beauty campaign
Davines has always seen its haircare products as care-crafted windows to a more enriching world in which beauty and sustainability come together. Part of the responsibility as a family-owned, certified B Corporation is to push ever-forward to do the best for the world with inspired humility.
After the groundbreaking success of the global, socio-environmental campaign, We Sustain Beauty in 2022, certified B Corp and sustainable haircare brand, Davines, is launching We Sustain Beauty 2023 with Grow Beautiful on its 40th brand anniversary. The second edition of We Sustain Beauty, its global campaign aimed at stimulating climate action through regenerative organic agriculture, is a call for balancing environmental regeneration with your own personal growth through the purposeful choices you make; and an expression of the brand’s values and hopes to grow a regenerative, renewed world on a heritage of deeply-rooted sustainability.
Davines will kick-off Earth Month on Saturday, April 1, 2023 with the release of a short conceptual video in collaboration with French dancer and choreographer, Fanny Sage (pictured above). The cultural piece interprets Grow Beautiful through music, dance, and written word to express the relationship between personal growth and environmental regeneration.
The Grow Beautiful Bag
Don’t miss out on the Grow Beautiful Regenerative Organic Lifestyle Bag, crafted to bring everyone together through beauty for the planet. Made with Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC) cotton from Odisha, India, the bag is a virtuous container for daily life. The cotton farming practices are thoughtfully aligned with the European Regenerative Organic Center in Parma, Italy, a groundbreaking collaboration with pioneers of regenerative organic agriculture, the Rodale Institute.
The European Regenerative Organic Center
The latest addition to the Davines Group Village, The European Regenerative Organic Center (EROC) is dedicated to sustainability research focused on carbon sequestration and biodiversity, farmer training and communication.
Occupying 39 acres next to Davines Village in Parma, Italy, the Centre continues to act as an agricultural research and education hub dedicated to regenerative organic farming. In its first year, EROC’s research included measuring how regenerative practices impact soil and plant quality versus when conventional farming practices are used.
