Debuting SACO’s new Global Artistic Director Marco Restrepo, this show brought SACO’s brand-new collection to life with an inspiring stage presentation that left a lasting impact on audiences.

The REAL Collection showcased SACO’s meticulous work and gave the audience a deep dive into the shapes, colours and techniques that were an antithesis to the shallow, fast-paced digital world. Built on organic shapes, simple elements and authentic technique, REAL was a refreshing response to the rapid change forced by fashion and trend.

SACO’s global view is drawn from many international sources and the team worked together to deliver something truly special.

Mahogany presented their ‘La Garçonne’ Collection, inspired by a women’s movement of the 1920’s that embraced free and androgynous silhouettes.

‘La Garçonne’ truly celebrated this emerging and powerful symbol of female freedom, epitomised by short sharp bobs and geometric lines which liberated women from the traditional norms. The Mahogany Creative Team used a blend of classic cutting techniques with playful contemporary disconnection, ruffled contours and head hugging movable shapes. The colour palette strengthened each shape with tones that embraced a nostalgic warmth, fused with futuristic muted pastels to create a versatile blend of vintage aesthetics with a modern twist.

Colin Greaney, International Creative Director said: “The Mahogany Creative Team are passionate about hairdressing and always keen to share their creative knowledge to the hairdressing world. They have a clear understanding of the amalgamation of art, fashion, beauty, and architecture, and most importantly, a visionary blend of groundbreaking technique which can be diluted into commercial understanding.”

TONI&GUY

The TONI&GUY team, led by Cos Sakkas introduced Dialekt, a superb new collection that explored hair as language. Each model that stepped on stage expressed a silent language through shape, form, style and colour.

Dialekt proved to be a truly eloquent way to share diverse emotions and attitudes from rebellion and confidence to creativity and vulnerability. The team delivered their vision of how hair shapes identity and how technique and artistry collide to give each head of hair a unique voice in this stunning and original collection.

SASSOON

Sassoon presented their Libertine collection which drew references from interwar London and celebrated cultural rebellion, individuality, and freedom. This incredible show shared Sassoon’s geometric foundations while creating styles that were modern, fluid and wearable with techniques including internal graduation and subtle disconnection.

The colour palette embraced contrasts from champagne-lit subtlety to prismatic accents of green, gold, and red. Each model was clothed in clean silhouettes and fluid tailoring and set to music that was rhythmic, modern, and immersive. This show was quintessentially Sassoon, leaving audiences awed and inspired.

Mark Hayes, International Creative Director at Sassoon noted: “A Masterclass is about opening the door to precision and creativity. This year I wanted to show how discipline can dissolve into freedom – hair designed with control but lived in with ease.”

DANGER JONES

The Danger Jones Creative Team alongside founders Alexis and David Thurston put colour at the centre of this visually high impact show. The team shared innovative blonding and toning techniques for stylists to take back to the salon to re-ignite their creativity. There was an in-depth look at dimensional blondes and brunettes and the show was packed with takeaway tips on how to transition to Fall tones, elevate colour services and build a loyal clientele. The looks were sophisticated, edgy and celebrated the entrepreneurial woman. An upbeat, high-energy show that was a perfect blend of education, inspiration and entertainment.

Danger Jones Founder, Alexis Thurston said: “We’ve evolved from a scrappy newcomer to being the global alternative to corporate colour lines. That means we came to Salon International with boots on the ground, building and working with our artist community, not from above them, but beside them.”
