We celebrated 40 years of incredible talent at HJ’s 2024 British Hairdressing Awards and our ongoing partnership with Schwarzkopf Professional, as the very best creative talents were recognised and rewarded.

This Winning Collections souvenir issue showcases the collections that our extensive panel of industry experts felt demonstrated the ultimate cutting, colouring and styling skills, setting the benchmark for others to follow. It takes courage and determination to put a collection together to be judged by the very best hairdressers in the world, and this shows the commitment and vision that each of our winners has demonstrated.

Anonymously and independently judged in silence by our extensive panel of the most credible and talented experts, whose own creativity is unparalleled, the process is overseen by independent auditors to ensure complete fairness and transparency.

Shooting exclusively for the British Hairdresser of the Year title, our eight nominees also produced an incredible live show on the night itself, and huge congratulations to Cos Sakkas, who won the title for the third consecutive year.

The British Hairdressing Awards continues to raise the profile and professionalism of this incredible industry, and it was an honour to welcome so many previous winners of not only the British Hairdresser of the Year title, but all title holders to the night itself.
