Simplify Salon Payments: Renting chairs or space in your salon? Read on…
Taking payments is complex, especially with the associated tax implications. Slick has launched SlickPay to help simplify things. Rather than separate card machines, or worse still, taking all payments together, SlickPay allows employed staff and sole traders to work side-by-side. Payment is taken via one card machine and then split into different bank accounts according to the portion of the bill for each service provider. With no hidden charges and fees at 1.29%+VAT, SlickPay helps you take control and gives your clients a seamless experience. With SlickPay, owners not only save time on accounting but they also save money. We’ve all accidentally typed £4 when we meant £40 into a keypad – Slick ensures your staff can’t accidentally enter the wrong amount, which means less incorrect transactions, less mistakes and more money in the till. Slick Co-Founder Rob Smith says: “Increasingly HMRC are cracking down on disguised employment which is why we launched Split Payments. It separates employed takings from those of the Sole Traders yet ensures clients get a slick checkout experience.”
