“I’ve named this colour Alabaster from the white stone that is really common in the West Country, it’s a really beautiful natural colour. I created a tonal root stretch on this model. We applied Metal Detox pre-treatment and then did a full head of highlights, we rinsed it off and created a really beautiful root smudge with a latte sort of tone. It’s a nuance of tone, with incredible definition from the shine lines.”
“Like a dip dye, but she’s got a colour on the root and the colour on the ends. You can create this in any palette, but this is lavender so it’s got that slightly cooler feel. This is all about neutralisation, this isn’t about heavy toning. We went in quite heavy on the ends, and then we toned with a lavender. What’s nice is it’s quite general, so anyone can choose elements of the look. You’ve gone deeper on the end, but there’s still a tonal shade in the middle.”
